The provisions of the present regulations are applied to walnuts to be exported -of the varieties of Juglans regia L.- that are intended to be disposed for human consumption in fresh condition. Walnuts intended for industrial processing (oil production) are excluded by the present regulations. Export is allowed provided that the final product to be placed onto the market fulfils the terms of the present text.
