These Regulations set forth the criteria for the recognition of breeders' associations, for registering pure-bred sheep and goats in herd books and the acceptability conditions for sheep and goats reproduction. A breeders' association which maintains or establishes herd books, in order to be officially recognized, must meet the criteria prescribed in article 3.
