This Act provides for the licensing of motor fishing crafts and for the regulation of various matters regarding fining in inland waters of Nigeria. “Motor fishing craft” is defined in section 16. Use of a motor fishing craft in inland waters of Nigeria requires a license to be applied for under section 2 with the Commissioner charged with the responsibility of matters relating to fishery within a State.
