The purpose of the present Law is to enforce the Council Directive 96/61/EC concerning integrated pollution prevention and control of 24 September 1996. Article 1 establishes that the Law shall be applied to the following: combustion plants, poultry breeding plants, milk processing facilities, slaughter houses, facilities for the disposal of non-edible animal products.
