The present Regulations enact the Irrigation Act, 1996. In particular, the Regulations lays down provisions relating to irrigation, such, as for example, the establishment and amalgamation of irrigation districts, classes of irrigation services, election and appointment of members of the Irrigation Crop Diversification Corporation, repairs and maintenance, etc. The text consists of 32 sections.
