This Act approves the Jersey Potato Export Marketing Scheme 2001. The Scheme is made pursuant to Article 2(6) of the Agricultural Marketing (Jersey) Law 1953 and provides an administrative and regulatory framework for the marketing and exportation of potatoes. The Jersey Potato Export Marketing Board is established for purposes of managing the Scheme and for administration and control of the fund established under the Scheme.
