This Decree governs the control of foodstuffs, tobacco products and additives with regard to public health, quality, animal health and food hygiene, and applies to entities producing and distributing foodstuffs. Coordination of the operations, with special regard to the annual inspection plan, is duty of the Interministerial Coordination Committee.
