This Act establishes the Karamoja Development Agency as a body corporate and defines its functions and powers. The Agency shall be responsible for the develoment of the Karamoja region and shall, among other things, develop agriculture and animal industry and provide sufficient water supply. The Agency shall be governed by a council.
