This Act amends the Karnataka Cooperative Societies Act, 1959. The Act seeks to add certain missing definitions. Additionally, the Act states that every member of a cooperative society shall participate in the management of the society and the board of every cooperative society shall file the financial and audit returns of the society with the registrar. Furthermore, the Act contains the powers and functions of the board of cooperative societies.
