This Law establishes liability for harm caused to human health by defects of commodities and workmanship and also establishes the duty of compensation of damages. It shall be applicable to all types of material commodities, and also to electric energy and gas. Producer shall be considered manufacture of commodities registered in Latvia and indicating himself as such in the technical documentation and labelling of commodities.
