Article 3 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Fishery management in internal waters and territorial sea of the Latvian Republic shall be performed by the state. In the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) of the Latvian Republic the state shall have sovereign right over fisheries, fishery management, research, conservation, reproduction of fish stocks and supervision over them”.
