The present Act introduces some amendments to the Environment Information Act (LGBl. No. 3/1996). In particular, it amends article 5 dealing with the publication of information relating to the environment. Furthermore, it adds a paragraph 6 to article 5 on the application for environmental information to be given at the latest within eight weeks. In case the information cannot be supplied the applicant shall be duly informed.
