The present Law regulates compensation payment for meat unfit for human consumption of sick animals for which no compensation is paid according to federal and cantonal law. The text – consisting of 11 articles – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: purpose, competent authorities, right to compensation payments, establishment of value of meat, legal protection and entry into force.
