This Law aims at taking measures to regulate the export, import, transportation and disposal of specified hazardous wastes in order to ensure the implementation of the “Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal” and to contribute to the protection of public health and the environment.
