The purpose of this Law shall be to regulate the protection and breeding of terrestrial and water fauna within the national territory. Methods for the protection of fauna shall include: (a) setting limits on fauna use; (b) keeping records of rare and endangered species in the Red Book; (c) protecting natural habitats and migration routes; (d) establishing game reserves and regulating their use; and (e) stock enhancement and repopulation measures.
