This Law defines the objectives of livestock breeding sector, the conditions and the manner of keeping of livestock, sustainable husbandry, ways of breeding including concrete cattle breeding programmes, the protection of genetic variability, genetic stocks and indigenous species, further determining the expert tasks and public services in the field of animal husbandry.
