This Law is composed of 43 articles and divided in six Chapters. It regulates the Water Resources System of Rio Grande do Sul State. The Law rules on the State Policy of Water Resources, providing overall and specific objectives. Water is considered as a limited resource belonging to public domain and having economic value.
