Law No. 1.060 creating the Special Institution for Environmental Control (FECAM).

This Law, consisting of 11 articles, creates the Special Institution for Environmental Control (FECAM) within the State of Rio de Janeiro. This Special Institution will be competent for protecting human beings, fauna and flora by carrying out controls and inspections on the natural resource uses and any related activities performed within the State, in view of the economic development of the State.
