This Law creates the Marine National Park of "Ilhas dos Currais" within the State of Paraná, according to Law No. 9.985 establishing the National System of Protected Areas Management. This Marine National Park aims at protecting the different ecosystems of Currais islands, in particular for preserving local birds species, maritime habitats and the marine environments. It also establishes limits and geographical coordinates of the above mentioned National Park.
