This Law, composed of 15 articles, defines the requirements for the production of the alcoholic beverage “Cachaça de Minas” and its classification criteria. The Law compels the Government to institute incentive measures for the development of programme supporting the production of the aforesaid beverage. Moreover, the Government is required to implement the Law within 60 days from its publication.
