This Law, consisting of 3 articles and 1 Annex, authorises the construction of small Hydropower Generation Centres – PCHs within the State of Paraná. It establishes the requirements to be satisfied in order to perform the above mentioned activity, according to existing environmental legislation. Annex specifies municipalities, rivers and other necessary information to obtain an environmental authorisation to produce electricity from small hydropower generation centres.
