This Law, consisting of 43 articles divided into five Chapters, creates the Ecological and Economic Zone of the State of Acre. This Ecological and Economic Zone aims at orienting the planning, management, activities and decisions made by the public, private power and civil society, related to land use and settlement, considering the potentialities and limitations of natural, biotic and socio-economic sectors, and at the practical implementation of sustainable development.
