This Law composed of 20 articles, rules on access to environmental information, and is especially addressed to public authorities. The aim is to grant the right of access to information and to provide public awareness on environmental issues, also boosting the use of information technologies. In particular, it defines the measures to be adopted by public authorities, the required time and modality of information availability, the request procedures and related sanctions.
