This Law designates movable and immovable cultural and natural assets, to designate protection areas and archeological sites. It sets forth the procedures and principles for their management, protection and conservation. The Law further sets forth the rules regarding the expropriation of and the obligations and responsibilities of real and legal persons regarding these assets. The Law also covers the principles and procedures governing research, drill and excavations.
