This Law establishes the State policy for water resources management within the State of Rio de Janeiro and creates the State Service for Water Management entitled to promote the water planning. It consists of 4 sections specifying the aforementioned State Water Policy (sect. 1); State management of water resources (2); Sanctions (3); Final provisions (4).
