This Law, consisting of 6 Chapters, establishes the legal regime for regional tourism areas within the territory of Portugal (excluding islands), their extension, delimitation and characteristics, as well as the legal regime for organization and functioning of the regional agencies of tourism. It establishes the requirements to be met in order to perform touristic activities.
