According to the amendments introduced by the present law, the law enforcement functions are exercised by the Forestry Police as an organic part of the ministry that manages the environment protection and forestry. Its organizational and managing structures are set up by secondary legislation proposed by the minister and approved by the Prime Minister. The duties and responsibilities of the Forestry Police in case of law infringements are further enlisted.
