The aim of this Law, is to regulate the provisions related to agricultural sales cooperatives and unions and to make these organizations more effective, autonomous and financially independent in a sustainable way. The Law covers provisions on the aim, establishment, capital, organs and functions of the cooperatives and unions. The Law also covers provisions on the control and audit of these organizations by the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
