Tailing dumps shall be destined for storage and burial of radioactive, toxic and other waste of mining industry. Uplands shall be considered mass of refuse stone and off grade minerals extracted from the subsoil in the process of mining. The purpose of the present Law shall be the preservation of environment in the process of management of tailing dumps and uplands.
