This Law, consisting of 9 Chapters, divided into 114 articles, establishes the State Policy and System on Environment within the State of Sergipe. The objectives of this Policy are: to preserve, protect, improve and rehabilitate an adequate level of environmental quality for living, aiming at guaranteeing the socio-economic development conditions and the dignity of human beings, through the following activities: governmental actions maintaining the ecological balance, considering the environment
