This Law establishes the forestry policy to be applied within the State of Bahia. It consists of 35 articles specifying the policy to be applied in the forestry sector in order to guarantee ecosystem preservation and wildlife conservation according to the sustainable exploitation of forestry resources. It classifies protected areas according to the different use or protection (forestry restrictions are specified in the text).
