This Law, consisting 15 articles divided into five Chapters, establishes the State Policy to Support Cooperatives within the State of Pará. This State Policy consists of a set of guidelines and rules aimed at encouraging cooperative activity and its development in the State of Pará. Under the Constitution of the State of Pará, a broad freedom and autonomy for the organization of cooperatives and for the cooperative act, is guaranteed.
