This Law, consisting of 6 Titles and 1 Annex, creates the State Policy on Environmental Resources Management. This State Policy aims at guaranteeing the sustainable development and the maintenance of an adequate environment under the following principles: protection and improvement of environmental quality within the State, promotion of research and technologies oriented to a sustainable use of environmental resources, recycling and re-use of material and residues, etc.
