By this Law, the Republic of Azerbaijan approved the amendments to the articles 25 and 26 of the Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes. On 28 November 2003, the Meeting of the Parties to the Convention adopted Decision III/1, amending articles 25 and 26 of the Convention to allow all United Nations Member States to accede to the Convention. The text of the Decision III/1 is attached to this Law in its original Azerbaijani translation.
