Article 15 of Law No. 8093 establishes that all different kinds of research, studies and explorations of surface and underground waters will be carried out upon an authorization from relevant water authorities for certain areas and time periods. According to the present Law, however, this requirement shall not apply to the Public Hydro-Geological Service.
