Law No. 8529, amending Law No. 7662, preventing the spreading of plant diseases.

This Law makes small amendments to 32 articles of Law No. 7662 of 19 January 1993. These amendments relate to names of bodies, such as the "Pesticide Commission", renamed the "State Commission on Registration of Products for Plant Protection"; after the "Director of Agriculture in District" is added "Directorate for the Prevention of Plant Diseases".
