This Law lays down the procedures and rules for implementing the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) with a view to ensuring their survival and preventing their mistreatment in international sale. The Law applies to all types of fauna and flora enlisted in the annexes to the Convention annexes and the national lists approved by the Minister.
