This Law establishes classification requirements for plant products and subproducts. It consists of 13 articles specifying the obligation of classifying the aforementioned products if they are destined to human consumption. Controls and sanctions shall be under the competence of the Ministry of Agriculture. Amended article 37 concerns classification and control of animal products destined to internal trade. Sanctions for illegal activity are specified in the text.
