This Law officially implements the terms and rules stipulated by the Rotterdam Convention on the Prior informed consent procedure for certain hazardous chemicals and pesticides in international trade (drawn up in Rotterdam on 10 September 1999), and adopted by the Croatian Parliament at its session on 20 April 2007.
