This Legislative Decree amends Legislative Decree No. 20 of 1979 defining requirements and conditions for the registration and safety of small ships as follows: (a) establishment of the Small Ships Register at the Coast Guard Department-Ministry of Interior entrusted with the competence to register small ships; (b) the words “Coast Guard Department” shall be replaced by “Ports Department” and the words "Ministry of Interior" shall be replaced with the words “the Ministry of Finance and National
