The Minister may by Notice in the Official Gazette declare any Local Forest or part of a Local Forest to be a Joint Forest Management Area. In that case, the Minister shall constitute a Forest Management Committee for that area. The Committee shall be constituted of representatives of central and local authorities specified in regulation 3.
