The present Act provides for the setting up of the Malaysian Cocoa Board for the following purposes: (a) promotion and development of the cocoa industry in Malaysia; (b) administration of the cocoa industry in Malaysia. The Act is divided into the following Parts: (I) Preliminary; (II) The Board; (IIA) Director-General and staff of the Board; (III) Finance; (IV) Cess; (V) Audit and annual report; (VA) Enforcement; (VB) General; (VI) Supplementary and transitional provisions.
