Pursuant to section 6 of the Environment Protection Act and further to Legal Notice No. 208 of 2001, the Minister for the Environment has appointed the Malta Resources Authority as the competent authority with respect to indirect discharges as referred to in Legal Notices Nos. 213, 218, 219, 220, 221 and 227 of 2001, all of them issued under the Environment Protection Act.
