These Regulations amend the Marine Conservation (Turtle Protection) Regulations (1996 Revision) in relation with licences for traditional fishing. They also repeal regulation 10. Licences shall be issued only to residents and: shall be valid for a year and only for a specified number of turtles; shall prohibit specified fishing methods; and shall specify the minimum and maximum size of turtles that may be taken.
