This Act amends the Pilotage Act, 1987 and the Harbours Act, 1964, so as to provide for selected matters regarding navigation in marine waters and harbours. It introduces measures to reduce burdens on the ports and shipping industry, and improve safety for vessels in harbours and the seas around the United Kingdom.
