The purpose of these Measures is to strengthen the safety appraisal work management of hydropower projects, improve the project acceptance work quality, and ensure the safety of the projects. The Text consists of 41 Articles divided into 7 Chapters: General provisions (I); Organizing safety appraisal work (II); Responsibilities of construction units(III); water storage safety appraisal (IV); Project completion safety appraisal (V); Special safety appraisal (VI ); Supplementary provisions (VII).
