The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to hunting in national parks in the Land Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Article 1 establishes that hunting in national parks is aimed solely to ensure the proper balance of the stock of game to be conserved. Moreover, damage caused by game to cultivated land shall be compensated. Visitors shall have the opportunity to observe wild living animals in their natural surroundings.
