In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 132(3) and 213 of the Merchant Shipping Order, 2002, the Minister of Communications, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, declares that Safety Zones are established around all offshore installations extending to a distance of 500 metres measured from each point on the edge of the installations situated within Brunei Darussalam waters, that do not lie within the areas defined in the Schedule.
