This Methodical Instruction establishes the modalities for identifying and diagnosing parahemolytic vibrios in fish and fish products through sanitary and epidemiological supervision. Parahemolytic vibrios are pathogenic microorganisms of the Vibrionaceae species populating saltwater water bodies. There is a danger of enteric infection outbreaks wherever seafood is consumed.
