In implementation of Directive 2002/23/EC, the present Decree amends Ministerial Decree of 19 May 2000 which establishes maximum residue levels for active substances of phytosanitary products in foodstuffs. This Decree establishes maximum residue levels for active substances of phytosanitary products in and on: (a) the products of plant origin (including fruits and vegetables) referred to in Part A of Annex 1 to Ministerial Decree of 19 May 2000; (b) the cereals referred to in Part B of Annex 1 to Ministerial Decree of 19 May 2000; (c) other plant products, as defined in Part C of Annex 1 to Ministerial Decree of 19 May 2000; (d) the products of animal origin referred to in Part D of Annex 1 to Ministerial Decree of 19 May 2000. Annex 1 to this Decree modifies and supplements Annex 2 to Ministerial Decree of 19 May 2000, whereas Annex 2 hereto amends and supplements Annex 3 to the same Decree. Annex 3 to this Decree fixes safety intervals applicable to active substances of phytosanitary products.
